A man who is accused of assaulting an estate agent is to face trial.
The Bournemouth Daily Echo reports that Marc Skelton, of no fixed abode, has appeared before magistrates in Poole accused of assaulting Anthony Newman of Tony Newman Estate Agents on February 27.
Skelton, 47, denies the charge.
It is reported that the defendant also denied a second charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.
It is believed that both incidents happened at the agency’s office in Poole on the same day following a dispute between the defendant and company staff.
A trial will take place on July 3.
