Jackson-Stops has boosted its presence across the Cornish coast, with the hiring of three new directors, Richard Holder, Dean Lonergan and Daniel Ball.
The trio have worked together for the past 10 years as part of the prestigious local team at David Ball and are well established figures in the local area.
They have more than 100 years of property buying and selling knowledge between them and will specialise in prime coastal homes under the Jackson-Stops brand.
The agents will work alongside the national brand’s current director Ben Standen and sales negotiator Zara Roberts. The Truro branch based on Lemon Street has been operating for 23 years under the leadership of Standen.
He said: "Cornwall's magnetism is rooted in its diverse property landscape, vibrant culture, dynamic local markets, top-notch education, and a plethora of recreational pursuits.
“We’re seeing leads come in from across our network and appetite from those who have never visited before wanting to have a slice of the good life. Richard, Dean and Daniel join the business at an exciting time, allowing Jackson-Stops to expand its presence further into Cornwall, stretching from St Agnes to Padstow.”
The Cornwall expansion follows the launch of two new offices in Stockbridge and Colchester earlier this summer, broadening the Jackson-Stops network to 42 offices across England.
The Newquay-based agents will work closely with Jackson-Stops other offices in Truro and nearby Devon, to provide prospective buyers and sellers access to the Cornish coast and local knowledge under a trusted national brand.
Nick Leeming, chairman of Jackson-Stops, said: “This is a momentous time for the Jackson-Stops network. The property market in Cornwall has gone from strength to strength in the past three years, with the flexibility of home working and improved transport links making Cornwall a viable home even for London commuters.
“Richard, Dean and Daniel’s depth of experience of the Cornish market make them a dream trio for the brand, perfectly positioned to help buyers and sellers on their home buying journey. I’m confident that their experience, together with Ben and Zara’s longstanding reputation, is a recipe for coastal success.”
Holder added: “With increased investment and international maritime events, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing real growth from all buyer types here in North Cornwall who want the allure of sea views and scenic walks. Improved connectivity and investment in transport is making a move to the coast more appealing with London-bound flights from Newquay and a swift four-hour train service into the city.”
