Property brand launches hiring spree for 2024

Fisher German is aiming to grow its Midlands agency team following continued success in residential sales during the year.

The agency and property brand, headquartered in Ashby de la Zouch, said it has seen a surge in completed sales across its portfolio in the region, despite a seemingly sluggish market.
The team oversaw the completion of 28 country, land and prime sales through September, October, and November, with a total value of £22m, while also winning a number of new instructions.

It is now looking to build on this success by growing the residential agency team in the early part of 2024.

Thomas Blake, associate partner at Fisher German, said: “We suspect the forecasts for early 2024 are accurate and that inflation will steadily reduce further, which will hopefully improve confidence and stabilise interest rates. 

“However, it is anticipated that property values will fall further in the New Year, so a realistic approach to strategy will continue to be important.

“It will also be an election year, potentially later than usual, with the Government under pressure to deliver a generous spring budget, as the Conservatives attempt to win late favour and limit damage.

“If demand increases as predicted, it will be important for Fisher German to be well placed to offer consistent service levels into 2024.”
