Leading UK property auctioneer Bond Wolfe has broken through the £100 million barrier for sales to date in 2024, with its current total nearly 20% higher than this stage last year.
The Midlands based agency is increasingly expanding its reach with its auctions attracting properties for sale from Cornwall to Scotland and from London to Wales, as well as from across the Midlands.
Bond Wolfe has now announced that its current auction sales tally has reached £101.6 million in 2024, 19.4% higher than the £85.1m total sales made at this stage in 2023.
Craig Upton, marketing director at Bond Wolfe, said: “Our impressive auction sales results to date in 2024 are a clear indication that the property market has turned a corner from near recession into positive growth.
“The strength of demand this summer is considerably higher year-on-year as reflected by our sales total that is approaching 20% higher than last year.
Potential for further growth
“In terms of our own performance, Bond Wolfe’s auctions are continuing to attract bidders from across the UK and abroad with our ever-widening choice of sales locations.
“This means we are not only the first choice auction house across the entire Midlands but also for an ever-widening geography that indicates our future potential for further growth.”
The £100 million barrier was broken this week after four properties sold prior to Bond Wolfe’s next auction which starts at 8.30am on Wednesday 12 September, when scores more properties will be going under the hammer.
The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
