What does it say on your business card?
Managing Director of Rayner Personnel & Estate Agency All-Stars
How long have Rayner Personal been trading?
Founded in 2012 Rayner Personnel has grown organically and today consists of two offices (Bishops Stortford & Newbury) and twelve fee earners plus support staff. Its expert team has placed more than 2,000 high calibre property professionals in the three years to date
What is your greatest achievement and what made it so special?
I have had a hunger for commercial success from the moment I left school at 17 to start work at Dove & Hawk, a property recruitment company with an executive search focus. Four years later I bought out the two partners at the tender age of 21 and built the firm up to 20 staff. When I sold it in 2009 I bought my first home with the proceeds.
Following a short stint in estate agency, I spotted a gap in the market and established headhunting firm Rayner Personnel, specialising in senior property professionals, in August 2012. Since then I have steadily built a reputation for professionalism and getting results.
Driven by raw ambition, in 2013 I got a second start-up off the ground - an innovative property business, Estate Agency All-Stars, which provides specialist estate agency training courses (classroom and online) to junior agents with the aim of raising standards across the unregulated estate agency industry.
What is your property prediction for 2015?
My prediction for the UK Property Industry in 2015 is a stable one that isn’t much different from 2014.
