What is ‘company name’ and what does it do?
mio, a data driven communication tool for estate agents, vendors and buyers to untangle the countless lines of communication experienced during sales progression. mio creates collaboration amongst everyone involved to create more efficiency by dramatically reducing the number of calls needed across all parties which helps to keep chains intact and speed up transaction times.
What services do you offer and in what ways do you work with estate and letting agents?
mio offers a digital single view of the sales chain and uses reliable data feeds to automate parts of the sales progression journey. This results in the agent making fewer calls than they have historically needed to make in order to gather updates on progress mio also boasts in app messaging for the vendor and buyer and a whole lot more!
What makes your product different and how does it benefit agents?
One agent recently referred to mio like having another person in the office! It’s intuitive and knows what needs to be done each day by the branch in order to keep on top of their sales progression. It will create tasks not only for the agent but also for the vendors and buyers, notifying them what needs to be done to ensure timescales are met. It reduces the time needed on the phone chasing and most importantly it speeds up the sales transaction process.

What is your greatest achievement in your current role and what made it so special?
Each agent that I bring into the mio community is a great achievement, to see and hear the successes they are having with mio really does make it special.
What is the most satisfying part of your job?
Coming from an agency background, I know the frustrations that can happen with sales progression. Being able to help and take away many of those issues plays a huge part for me.
What do you see as the biggest challenge facing estate and letting agents at the moment?
Speculation in the media causes panic in the property market, Brexit has played a pivotal role in this and I see this as the main hurdle to overcome.
What is your property prediction for the remainder of 2019?
2019 has seen many agents adopting change and technology to move their business forward. The agents that adapt to the market, put their customers first, stand out above the crowd and go the extra mile will flourish and springboard into 2020.
