Franchise agency chain HomeXperts is expanding as a result of a £250,000 loan.
HomeXperts has 27 franchisees in England from Thirsk in north Yorkshire to the south coast, and later this year is expected to expand into Scotland and Wales.
It has set a target to recruit an additional 16 franchisees over the next year.
According to the firm its franchisees - who all work from home - convert eight out of 10 market appraisals to business, compared to an industry average of around a third, while they sell at 98 per cent of the original asking price compared to an industry average of 90 per cent.
Established in 2010 by Sussanne Chambers, the firm - which won the Sunday Times Gold Award as the UK’s best estate agency franchise last year - trains its franchisees to National Federation of Property Professionals standards and to be accredited by the National Association of Estate Agents and The Association of Residential Letting Agents.
HomeXperts says its loan, from Santander, allows it to take on an additional seven staff with another two new posts scheduled to be filled later this year.
The firm has also invested in new sales and marketing and the latest CRM technology which will enable its franchisees to open their branches quicker, it says.
