Money laundering and the controversies raised by the From Russia With Cash documentary will be amongst the subjects under discussion at the next conference of the National Association of Estate Agents.
The NAEA recently issued a statement calling on the government to take four actions to change the house buying process to try to bring more transparency to ownership and to try to discourage rogue agents.
Now the subject - along with identity fraud - will be the focus of some of the debate at the conference, which will also hear from a so-far unnamed government official aa well as a leading property economist, also unnamed.
Joe Lynam, one of the BBC”s business correspondents, will host the event which takes place on Tuesday February 23 at the Lancaster London Hotel.
Tony Anderson - best known as the first marking director at EasyJet – will also speak at the conference, about what the property industry can learn from large businesses in terms of customer service, pricing and digital technology.
