Marsh & Parsons has enhanced its residential development and investment department by appointing Matt Bird - a former social housing executive - as its new head of affordable housing.
Bird joins Marsh & Parsons next month from Peabody, one of London’s largest housing providers, where he has been the head of new business with responsibility for securing new land and partnership opportunities.
M&P’s RDI department has been in business for 18 months.
“Matt will be a fantastic addition as we seek to capitalise on the considerable momentum built up since the department was created. We’re advising major clients on a broad spectrum of development projects across London, from inception through to delivery” according to Charles Holland, M&P’s head of residential development and investment.
Meanwhile property group Andrews is bolstering its IT division - a key objective for the group this year - with the appointment of Ben Allen to the role of Infrastructure Manager.
Allen joins Andrews from Gloucester council where he was a technical analyst with the outsourced IT service. He will have overall responsibility for Andrews’ four-strong infrastructure team.
