Growing agency claims to be strongest property brand in its area

Estate agency Romans has claimed that it is the 'strongest property brand' in the Thames Valley. 

The Romans Group recently commissioned a survey, carried out by Redshift Research, which revealed that the agency is the most well-known in its area for both unprompted and prompted awareness. 

The survey questioned over 1,000 people in the areas served by Romans, including Reading, Bracknell, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Windsor, Maidenhead and Sunningdale. 

Romans also says that the survey indicates that it is the most 'used' and 'contacted' estate agent in the area, and the most likely to be considered by landlords and tenants as well as vendors and buyers. 

“Romans is by far the most well-known estate agency amongst respondents. In fact it was three times more well-known than any other agency for unprompted awareness,” says Andrew White, insight manager at Redshift Research.

The Thames Valley firm also claims that it is the most searched for regional agency online, with 33,100 brand searches achieved each month, according to a report by Inside Online.

Romans has also confirmed that it is on a recruitment drive as it continues to grow its network and market share. 

Vanessa Foot, the firm's recruitment manager, says that Romans is currently advertising a range of vacancies, from trainee estate agents and weekend consultants, to experienced lettings managers and new business managers. 

Last month Romans announced the acquisition of Atlantis Property in Reading, which it secured for £5 million.
