It's only one month before the clocks change so agents have been cramming in their good works before the worst of autumn and winter hits us.
We take our collective hat off to them - and don't forget that if you want publicity for your good cause, please let us know at press@estateagenttoday.co.uk.
We'll publicise your efforts just as we are the work of our latest agency heroes...
Alexander Devine Children's Hospice: Staff at Romans have been dedicated to raising money and awareness for this service over the last three years and have pledged to raise a further £30,000 throughout 2015.
This month agents from the Burnham, Windsor and Maidenhead offices took part in a sponsored 22.9 mile cycle along the River Thames from Henley-on-Thames to Windsor, and raised over £644 towards the target.
“It’s always great getting involved with the community and thinking of new ways to get Romans’ agents together to raise money for Alexander Devine” comments Carl Atkinson, Sales Manager at Romans Windsor. “The cycle was a tougher challenge than first anticipated but a lot of fun nonetheless. The support from the local community has been amazing – thank you to everyone that sponsored us!”
2015 has been a very special year for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service; they are on track to meet the £5m target to build the children’s hospice and work began on the site, just off junction 8/9 of the M4, near Maidenhead, on Wednesday September 23.

Sumarie Couture fashion house will be modelling some of its highly prized swimwear and city-wear. Zahed Taj-Eddin - a famous Syrian artist, archaeologist and restorer of ancient and historical artefacts currently exhibiting at the Victoria & Albert Museum - will present some of his sculptures. There will also be limited edition photos from the renowned photographer and film-maker Gabriel Chaim, whose drone footage of Kobani, Syria is currently projected at the U2 world tour.
All artists are donating the majority of their proceedings raised on the day to the campaign. And as an added touch of celebrity, renowned couture shoe designer Jimmy Choo will be there too.
Crohn's and Colitis UK: The Law Practice Leasing will donate a percentage of its lease writing profits during the autumn months to north eastern Scotland's branch of Crohn's and Colitis UK, managed entirely by volunteers.
“This exceptionally deserving cause will benefit from part of the proceeds of all leases instructed in September, October and November. Staff were asked to nominate charities so it’s great that we can support causes that really mean something to the team” explains Emma Higgins, leasing manager at The Law Practice Leasing.
