Zoopla has appointed a new creative agency, Creature, to handle its next round of advertising.
Zoopla, handling the process directly, began searching for an agency in July and held a competitive pitch.
ZPG was forced to cease work with its previous agency, Albion, after buying the price-comparison site uSwitch - Albion was also working for close rival comparison website Comparethemarket.com.
Campaign, the marketing industry magazine, says Albion won Zoopla’s creative account in 2013, when it had an annual media spend of £4m. Then the agency won a pitch against Creature and another company.
"These are exciting times for Zoopla and this is just the start of a wave of new activity coming through over the months. We've found the perfect partner in Creature who will help us build on our previous campaigns and create a step change in ZPG's marketing direction” says ZPG marketing officer Gareth Helm.
