The Apprentice returns this evening on BBC1 at 9pm and, as usual, there’s a property person amongst the 18 hopefuls seeking Lord Sugar’s backing.
Michelle Niziol is 35 and was the founder of IMS Independent Mortgage Solutions.
Niziol qualified as a mortgage broker in 2005, founding IMS three years later. “The focus of my businesses is to provide excellent customer service within any aspect of the property journey” she says.
Having won broker awards in 2011 and 2015, Niziol then set up an estate agency and lettings business in Oxford, and being in both the NAEA and ARLA.
She’s also a columnist for consumer publication What Mortgage and the First Time Buyers magazine but it may be on The Apprentice that she faces her biggest task - especially as she has told the BBC that she will use the opportunity to teach Lord Sugar “a few things” about women in business.
Meanwhile Zoopla has revealed the house that Niziol and her competitors will be living in during the course of the series.
It’s a six-bedroom four-storey property in Hampstead which is available to let for almost £40,000 a month, and which is also for sale for a cool £11.95m.
You probably have to be as wealthy as Lord Sugar to consider renting or buying it...
