Thomas Morris Sales & Lettings didn’t entirely shut down for the Christmas period - instead, one of its staff helped the homeless on December 25 after the firm provided festive gifts to help those without a home of their own.
“We’re delighted to have this opportunity to bring some festive cheer to the guests of Jimmy’s [a night shelter] in Cambridge. This amazing organisation has been providing help for the homeless for over 20 years working with other agencies to deliver 24/7 emergency accommodation” explains Simon Bradbury, director of Thomas Morris, which is part of Relocation Agent Network.
“In the spirit of Christmas, the staff at Thomas Morris Sales & Lettings, together with colleagues from RAN, have teamed up with industry suppliers to provide 30 Christmas stockings” he says.
Gifts included thermal mugs, socks, gloves, hats, toiletries, chocolate bars, jelly beans and even shortbread as well as over 40 DVD’s to be watched at Jimmy’s over the Christmas period.
One of the team was on duty at Jimmy’s on Christmas Day, serving guests with food and helping to keep the busy kitchen clean and tidy.
Now that’s what we call the real spirit of Christmas - well done all!
