The raterAgent website is to use an automatic email generating service to encourage more reviews.
raterAgent has teamed up with Reapit to make it possible to generate an e-mail to a contact directly from the software requesting a review.
Review websites across all business activities, not just in the agency industry, are under the spotlight at the moment with the Competitions and Markets Authority announcing that it has opened investigations into some unspecified sites and companies and will issue a statement on them in the coming weeks.
It is not saying whether those under investigation include agency or property industry review sites.
raterAgent, which has what it calls a ‘triple lock’ checking system to weed out fake reviews - says the link-up with Reapit will make it easier for agents to generate testimonials “and use them to show their next clients how good they are. In turn, this will win business and enable them to be strong on their fee rates.”
It says that the average rating an agent gets, based on tens of thousands of reviews, if four stars out of five.
“We know that testimonials are fantastic for lead generation. Word of mouth is our biggest driver of new business opportunities. What’s been missing is the simplicity of capturing that testimony on a trustworthy and transparent independent review website” says Simon Whale, a director at Reapit.
