Cancer Research: Popular agency Ryder & Dutton has completed the ‘Pretty Muddy 5k Race for Life’ at Manchester’s Heaton Park for Cancer Research.
The race certainly lived up to expectation as the team tackled a very muddy trail whilst bouncing on space hoppers, avoiding wrecking balls, army crawling through muddy tunnels, crawling under nets, going through muddy water plunge pools, had buckets of muddy water thrown at us, climbed over A frames and finally went down a huge muddy slide.
The Ryder & Dutton team comprised of Rebecca Heselwood, Emma Shepherdson, Rachel Buckley, Sophie Tonge, Sarah Lynn and Kirstie Williamson, raising over £600 in donations.

Agents Giving: Training for Agents’ Giving’s Strictly Come Dancing Event is well underway, with 10 volunteers already excelling in a number of well-known dances. However, due to a contestant injury (outside of the lessons), one more dancer is needed to step in and help to complete this troupe.
All that’s required is to take a minimum of five lessons, which will be funded by a Rightmove support grant, and each dancer will be required to raise sponsorship of £1,500 at least. This is all in preparation for the final dance off at the Agents Giving Charity Ball, which will be performed in-front of a selected panel of judges including a TV professional.
“We urge anyone who might be interested to get in touch and complete the prestigious lineup for our brilliant Strictly Come Dancing event. The volunteers have already been having so much fun learning some new moves at the Wright Rhythm Dance School, and it’s been made even more better by the fact that it’s all for a good cause” says Agents Giving chairman Peter Knight.
The Agents Giving Charity Ball will be held at the Lancaster Hotel London on Friday, September 30. Attendees will have the chance to celebrate the fundraising efforts of all its supporters, and longtime patron Phil Spencer will be presenting the awards to the Fundraising Champions.
If you would like to take part in the Strictly Come Dancing event, please contact Yvonne Martin at Agents Giving on 01372 370895 or info@agentsgiving.org.

Brookdale Primary School: This primary in Greasby has launched the kIDpack safety initiative for over 300 pupils, following sponsorship by local agency Karl Tatler.
Specifically tailored for the UK, kIDpacks are based on similar packs widely used in the US for several years, particularly by the FBI in recovering abducted or missing children.
Completed by parents, the kIDpacks document a child’s vital information for police to use in the event of an emergency if a child went missing.
Acting Headteacher of Brookdale Primary School, Gill Knapton, says: “The kIDpacks are an excellent resource that can safeguard children and aid parents in further conversations at home about personal safety and what to do if their child gets lost. We’re very grateful to Karl Tatler Estate Agents for their generous sponsorship of the scheme.”
Brookdale Primary School have distributed 300 kIDpacks to all of their enrolled children, as well as to the children of staff members. The packs will also be provided to the siblings of enrolled children and any child enrolling at Brookdale Primary over the next year.
