Proctors estate agency in south London is one of many throughout the country with a proud heritage - but in this case, the company has celebrated its 70th anniversary with a very 21st century event, the creation of a video posted on YouTube.
The firm - which has also done a neat modification to its corporate logo to integrate ‘70’ into its name - has used some of its present and past staff to go in front of the camera to mark the anniversary.
The video was made over the course of a day at some of the firm’s offices and across its patch in Shirley, Beckenham, Park Langley, Anerley and Orpington.
It’s really a three minute snapshot of estate agency changing from just the personal touch to today’s combination of expertise, personal contact and even social media to bring in younger clients too - all through the framework of traditional branch offices.
We liked this video and hope you do too. And if your agency has produced something similar for use on social media, please let us know on: press@estateagenttoday.co.uk.

These guys are what estate agency is all about. Locally based agents with in-depth intimate knowledge of their market and who provide so much more than simply matching buyers to properties. When the on-line agents have fizzled out, people like Proctors will still be there doing what they do best.
Congratulations to everyone at George Proctor & Partners (as I used to know them when I was a junior negotiator back in the early '70s)
