Foxtons has confirmed that it will be opening a further two branches in the coming weeks.
The agency said in July that it was reviewing the pace of its branch openings over the short-term, but it appears its latest expansion plans have been given the green light.
Both new branches will be located in South London. The first, in Vauxhall, will open at the beginning of next month and the second, in Peckham, will open its doors on October 29.
Foxtons says this will bring its total number of offices in London and the Home Counties up to 65 by the end of this year – suggesting these will be the firm's final branch openings in 2016.
Until now, the agency had opened five new offices throughout this year.
As is customary with a Foxtons launch, the new branches will be offering vendors and landlords the opportunity to sell or let for 0%.
Foxtons says its teams of agents in the new locations will be taking part in upcoming charity events in order to develop relationships with local businesses and schools, reflecting the company's Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy.
“To be a part of the changing face of Nine Elms is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I've already been blown away by the characterful streets and gardens of Kennington and the vibrancy of life in Vauxhall itself,” says Clodagh Blain, sales manager of Foxtons Vauxhall.
“My team and I are looking forward to bringing the best of our knowledge and expertise to the area and becoming a part of the local community.”
Earlier this month, a group of activists announced plans to start its 'decisive battle against gentrification' at Foxtons Islington.
