An estate agency with four offices across Greater Manchester has been bought out of administration, with all of its 21 staff jobs saved.
Insider Media reports that Kirkham Property entered administration on August 25.
Set up in 1983, Kirkham Property started only with property but has since expanded into financial and legal services including conveyancing, wills & probate, mortgage and protection advice and pension advice.
"The administration was brought about by the threat of a winding-up petition from HM Revenue & Customs. Following a marketing campaign, the business was sold as a pre-packaged sale to a director of the company. This has saved the jobs of all 21 employees in the area, and protected the interests of the company's clients, who are the general public and all stakeholders" says a representative of the administrators.
