Agents make senior rural and country appointments

Richard Addington has switched from being Savills’ head of office in Exeter to joining Jackson-Stops & Staff’s branch in the same city - back where he first began his career in property over 25 years ago.

Addington will join Michael Clark and Charles Lawson as branch director.

JS&S’s Devon country house division was established in Exeter in 1985.

Meanwhile John Hoy, former chief executive of the Blenheim Estate, has joined Bidwells as head of its rural division.

Hoy has headed up a team at Blenheim for the past 14 years, and is also a member of the VisitEngland Advisory Board.

Prior to his time with Blenheim, Hoy was commercial project manager with the National Museums of Science and Industry, general manager of Madame Tussauds in London, and head of operations and retail at Warwick Castle.
