Fine & Country is opening a new office specialising in villages in West Sussex.
The Downland Villages branch, situated in Henfield, will target higher-priced properties in the area and will use staff from local agency Stevens Estate Agents.
The branch will cover 15 villages - Ditchling, Keymer, Hassocks, Husterpierpoint, Albourne, Sayers Common, Twineham, Wineham, Henfield, Blackstone, Woodmancote, Poynings, Fulking, Steyning and Ashurst - boasting 14,000 properties between them.
“The area we cover in the historic county of Sussex is full of history. With a mix of commuters, families and the retired, the Downland villages are an ideal place to live with good transport links to London. We have an extensive mix of historic houses, beautiful country cottages, and exclusive homes available. Properties range from period properties to luxurious new-builds.” says spokesman Gary Marples.
The company has offices in 300 locations, mostly in the UK but also in Dubai, Egypt, France, Namibia, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, West Africa, Russia, Australia and Hungary.
