Andrews Property Group has announced that Ronda Green, the group’s marketing director, died suddenly in hospital on January 3.
Having previously worked in marketing for IT businesses and the NHS, Ronda Green joined Andrews some 20 years ago and was promoted to the board in 2000.
She was widely recognised throughout the group for being an exceptional team member who carried out her role with passion, drive and loyalty.
Speaking of her passing, David Westgate, group chief executive of Andrews Property Group, says the firm has lost a very dear friend and colleague.
“Her impact on Andrews over the last 20 years has been significant but notably she played a pivotal role in our recent rebranding and was genuinely passionate about our philanthropic work” he says.
“She was the brains behind our 70th anniversary campaign through which we’re raising money to support young people leaving the care system and to consider marking the key milestones of that campaign without her is simply unimaginable. Her loss is immeasurable and she’ll be missed by the whole Andrews’ team.”
Andrews is to make an announcement in the near future on how the industry and colleagues can pay their respects.
“We want to ensure that whatever we do in Ronda’s honour is a true reflection of something she truly believed in. We’re going to take our time, in consultation with her family, to get this right and will release further details once plans are confirmed” explains David Westgate.
