London estate agency Residential Realtors removed a property listing from its website after a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority.
The property concerned was a four bedroom terraced home listed for sale.
“It featured four images of the inside of the advertised property. The complainant challenged whether the ad was misleading because they believed the four images were not reflective of the inside of the property” says a spokesman for the ASA.
The ASA contacted Residential Realtors which said the photos had been uploaded to the wrong property.
“In light of that they took the advertised property offline” says the spokesman; the authority has now classed the case as informally resolved.
