Six more High Street estate agencies have signed up to an online platform that allows them to offer customers a fixed-fee listing service for £895.
The online platform is love2move and the latest sign-ups are Schofield Stone in Derbyshire; Hayden Estates in Worcestershire; Foden Property in Shropshire; Michael Moon on Merseyside; MCM Estates and Lettings in Nottingham and The Dwelling Place in Burnley.
Love2move launched in February and now has 11 High Street agencies on board.
Developed by Lancashire-based estate agency MovingWorks, the platform sits alongside a High Street agent’s existing traditional offering.
MovingWorks says the style of the website “combines the functions of Rightmove and Tinder” allowing users to swipe and select on a smartphone or tablet. They can then communicate directly with the seller through an instant online chat function.
The company says the advantage for sellers over existing online agencies is that they have the reassurance that their property value has been "verified by an experienced local agent who will advise on the price that will generate maximum return and a speedy sale”.
Agents with love2move are able to generate addition income by tailoring their service offering according to a customer’s requirement and budget.
