Now, here are this week’s heroes...

Radio City Cash or Kids: Karl Tatler Estate Agents & Lettings is again involved with the Radio City Cash or Kids annual Christmas present appeal.
Each of its six branches across Wirral are registered as official drop off points for Mission Christmas. The charity is appealing for new, unwrapped gifts suitable for babies, children and young people aged up to 18 years.
Managing director Karl Tatler, says: “Our team really enjoy getting behind Radio City’s Mission Christmas appeal and we are proud to once again support a fantastic cause. Knowing that hundreds of disadvantaged local children are waking up on Christmas morning feeling special, thanks to the generosity of the Wirral public and our staff, is very fulfilling and we are delighted to offer our support.”
Last Christmas, over £1.1m worth of gifts were distributed to over 30,900 local children throughout Liverpool, Wirral, the North West and North Wales.
Karl adds: “Over the last two years of supporting Cash for Kids with their Mission Christmas appeal, we have collected a total of 539 gifts for under privileged children in the area. By the end of this 2017 campaign we would be over the moon if we can bring this total over 1,000! Please bear in mind what a difference buying one extra Christmas present can make on Christmas Day to a deserving child or young person. No child should wake up on Christmas Day without a gift.”

Centrepoint Sleep Out: Some of the MyLondonHome team are taking part in Centrepoint’s Sleep Out to give homeless young people a future.
Sleeping out on a bitterly cold and damp November night isn’t an easy task but it will help to give some of society’s most vulnerable people the support they need to rebuild their lives.
In order to help us support homeless young people they need you to donate!
So far the team have raised over £3,000 and send their thanks in advance for future generousity from Estate Agent Today readers.
You can view the team donation page here https://sleep-out-2017.everydayhero.com/uk/mylondonhome/members.
New Horizon Youth Centre: The Property Redress Scheme has hosted a Secret Cinema night inviting all staff, family, and friends to a film night aimed at raising as much money as possible to donate and support its charity of the year.
For this fundraising evening, it wasn’t the venue that was the secret, it was the film. The event was held at a local cinema near the PRS office in Borehamwood. Event organisers created a poster to promote the event with three clues to help provide hints for staff.
With its donation earlier on in the year, PRS has now managed to raise a grand total of £5,475.07.

St Giles Church, Oxford: Andrews Charitable Trust, one of two charitable trusts that wholly own Andrews Property Group, has presented St Giles’ Church, Oxford with a cheque for £2,000 to support the launch of a new café staffed by the homeless and former homeless.
Aimed at providing training and work opportunities to some of the most vulnerable in the local community, the café is also intended to help break down the stigma and stereotyping that those who are, or who have been, homeless can suffer from.
Every year, Andrews gives a minimum of 35 per cent of its profits to its two charitable shareholders.
ACT then selects innovative new community projects to receive grants of £2,000 with the Respite Café at St Giles being one of six to be selected in the latest round of awards.
ACT is currently accepting applications for a further 20 project grants. The closing date is November 27 2017 and further information can be found at: www.andrewscharitabletrust.org.uk/who-we-fund/christian-community-grants/
