AllAgents, the review website which failed in a bid to raise a ‘fighting fund’ in its ongoing row with Purplebricks, is not commenting on its next move in the dispute.
It fell just under 10 per cent short of its £50,000 funding target, which it said it required to fund possible legal action should Purplebricks initiate its own legal action.
This follows a stand-off between AllAgents and Purplebricks over the accuracy or otherwise of at least some of 71 reviews of the hybrid agency carried on the review site.
The crowdfunding figures remain on the AllAgents’ home page along with a message: “Thanks to everyone who back Help us fight corporate bullying from Purplebricks, we didn’t make it this time.”
AllAgents has not responded to requests from Estate Agent Today as to what its next move is now; the review site said before the crowdfunding exercise that it would restore the reviews should it succeed with its £50,000 fund.
There has also been no word on talks which have apparently been going on between the two organisations.
