A firm which offers a white-labelled online estate agency platform which can be used by otherwise-traditional agencies to provide a Purplebricks-style hybrid service is offering its product to new users - for free.
The Hystreet platform has the functionality of online agencies and customers can request valuations, book viewings, make offers, provide feedback, negotiate a sale, and communicate with an agent online.
Now the product creator says he is inviting agents to register their interest to join an initial roll-out of the platform.
Those agents selected - no number has been specified - will be set up and trained free of charge and with no contractual obligation.
"We have chosen to release our core platform for free in order to allow agents to offer technology tools that customers expect whilst retaining and highlighting the excellent work they do in delivering the best outcome for their clients, on whichever fee model suits them best” says chief executive Awais Ahmad.
“Although we can’t deny the impact of online or hybrid estate agency business models, we can compete on a level playing field when it comes to technology. We hope that agents will embrace our proposal” he adds.
“We wanted to demonstrate to all high street agents that we are on their side at a time where increasing portal charges and software subscriptions are loading more cost on them while fees are pushed downwards.”
Hystreet recently announced that PropTech specialists James Dearsley and Eddie Holmes would be joining its advisory team.
