A Cincinatti-based international property agency, Barnes, has acquired a majority stake in the high end consultancy Hanover Private Office.
“We believe there is great synergy between the businesses, and this acquisition will give our clients greater access to the Ultra High Net Worth Individuals community when selling their properties through Barnes. Together, we will be able to offer unrivalled private office services to our extensive global network of clients” explains Barnes president Thibault de Saint Vincent.
The new partnership will also build out a network of offices across London and the UK to provide property services for the luxury market.
Founded in 1996 by Heidi Barnes with offices in London, Paris and Miami, over 60 agencies were subsequently opened across Europe, the USA, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean area offering advice on sales, rentals and management.
The merger will see Hanover Private Office, a buying agency and property consultancy, rebranded as BARNES Private Office and will expand the reach of the business to provide international agency services across its global network.
“Servicing the needs of our UHNWI clients is key to our business success, and our reach has just got a whole lot bigger. In turn, we have opened our portfolio of exceptional properties to the Barnes network, so we have access to many more international buyers looking to take advantage of today’s huge buying opportunity in Prime Central London and across the Home counties” says Alex Newall, managing director of BARNES.
