A website now marketing 380,000 homes from 900 agents across the world has struck a deal with an international property referral firm and claims the combined result will allow them to become “a global version of Rightmove” listing over three million homes for sale.
The World Property Network, which markets its current inventory in 70 languages and 32 currencies online and via Sky Property TV, has entered into an alliance with the Realty World Referral Center which specialises in homes in the Americas and the Caribbean.
Realty World, the parent company of RWRC, was founded in 1973 and has 400 offices worldwide. The referral centre has linked with thousands of agents in North America, Mexico, Central America, and Europe.
A statement announcing the alliance claims that when the two businesses join forces they will “together offer initially three million properties for sale across the world.”
“Both businesses believe that the international market has not evolved sufficiently to enable it to tune in to the digital era of property trading. It is still in the dark ages of antiquated property websites and individual country property portals that have not kept up with the rapid pace of technology” says Peter Mansfield, group chairman at TWPN.
“This is a strategic partnership that will see TWPN with its superb consumer interface and advanced site user functionality make the first steps towards being a global version of Rightmove and disrupting the market with this innovative international property trading platform.”
One of TWPN’s customers - Statons LLP, a six branch North London agency specialising in sales and lettings - claims a 25 per cent uplift in sales and instructions since Christmas thanks to its exposure on the network.
