The first ever home to have a viewing staged over Facebook Live has sold after it received three offers as a result of the experiment.
In June we reported that online agency Housesimple was aiming to sell the three bedroom semi-detached bungalow in Rainham, east London, valued at between £470,000 and £475,000.
The owner, Shanty Helim, staged the Facebook Live viewing herself, and viewers were encouraged to make an offer on the home via the Facebook Messenger application during and following the streaming.
Over 20,000 people viewed the property via Housesimple’s Facebook page and the deal has now gone through with the purchaser paying £467,000.
