Winkworth Franchising has created an in-house recruitment department to enhance the company’s tailored offering to franchisees.
The team will be led by head of recruitment Lucy King, who started her career in 2005 in a sales role and moved to property recruitment five years ago.
“We work hard behind the scenes to provide our franchisees with an exceptional back of house function, so that they can concentrate on what they do best - helping people to buy and sell their homes” says Dominic Agace, chief executive at Winkworth.
“We’re constantly on the lookout for talented individuals to join us, so if you like the idea of owning your own business with a fantastic support network behind you, contact us for more information” he adds.
Winkworth has almost 100 offices in the UK, mostly in and around London. The company has opened three new franchised offices so far this year, and says it proposes to expand with further of branch openings throughout the rest of year.
Meanwhile a boutique agency in London’s Westminster - Hathaways - is to be rebranded as part of Dexters, following two years of working in partnership.
Hathaways has specialised in central London property since the 1970s, primarily dealing the Westminster, St James's Park and Victoria areas.
Dexters has over 60 offices across the capital, with 28 of them in central London. The company has invested £100m into its own growth since 2008, £18m of which was invested last year in a successful company rebrand and a number of strategic acquisitions.
