Countrywide Surveying Services has been appointed by Virgin Money as its partner to support borrowers for new build, custom build and shared ownership properties.
The company employs over 400 chartered surveyors and will provide what it describes as “a specialist and operational team” as part of the link.
In addition, Virgin Money will have access to Countrywide Surveying Services’ new build portal, which has details of sites and phases of new home developments.
“Our partnership demonstrates our joint commitment to continue improving and transforming the way we deliver our services for the benefit of our customers” says Paul Wareham, managing director of Countrywide Surveying Services.
The surveying division provided one of the few moments of relief in Countrywide’s poor set of figures for the first half of 2017, presented to shareholders and the City last month.
“Our surveying business has grown its profitability and increased the amount of mortgage valuations it has undertaken for its lender clients this year,” Countrywide chief executive Alison Platt said at the time.
