Prime London agents launch new industry recruitment firm

Three prime London estate agents have this week launched a specialist recruitment company for the property industry. 

Hanning Recruitment has been founded by Toby Speke and backed by Rory Penn and Thomas van Straubenzee of prime London agency VanHan.

Managing director Speke has previously worked for VanHan as well as Knight Frank. Penn and van Straubenzee, meanwhile, are listed as joint managing directors of VanHan.

Headquartered in Mayfair, Hanning Recruitment will focus its attention on both the residential and commercial property sectors.

The firm says it boasts a market leading black book of top talent in the industry, and has already seen significant interest in its candidates.

“The recruitment industry is often criticised for being overly opportunistic. With the creation of Hanning Recruitment, we wanted to set a new benchmark for the sector in terms of quality and service," explains Toby Speke.

"We either know or can identify the best candidates, and introduce them to their dream jobs, from graduate roles to more senior positions at director or partner level."

The fledgling firm says it is currently accepting CVs for a range of positions across investment and finance, asset management, land and development, PropTech, general practice and construction.
