Humberts promotions beef up sales and franchising management

Humberts has made two internal promotions to the leadership of its sales and franchising divisions.  

Tim Simmons has been appointed Head of Residential Sales after working at Humberts for 19 years; Nick Evans becomes Head of Franchising after being at the firm for no less than 42 years.

Simmons has contributed heavily to the Humberts business in one of its heartlands, the south west; as manager of the Yeovil office he was instrumental in it becoming the most profitable in the business in 2013 and 2014.

He was appointed on to the Humberts Operations Board in 2016 and has since launched the internal training programme; he will continue to be based in Yeovil and all of the sales offices nationwide will report in to him.

“We expect 2018 to be a similar year to 2017 with little growth in property values. A ‘back to basics’ approach of phenomenal service standards and attention to detail will be instrumental to the success of the business” he says.

Previously Head of Residential Sales, Nick Evans has now taken on the newly created position as Head of Franchising. 

Based in Sherborne, he will continue play an active part in his local office whilst helping to grow the franchise element of the Humberts business.

“In 2018 we’re looking to attract further franchisees to the Humberts network. With a successful track record and heritage brand the aim is to grow this part of our business and build relationships across London and the UK” says Evans.
