The ESTAS Group has announced record entries for its 2018 estate and letting agents awards.
The national award scheme - which recognises the best estate and lettings agents, mortgage advisors and conveyancers in the residential industry - has also received over 40,000 customer reviews via its feedback platform.
The shortlists and winners are decided on feedback from customers who have experienced the full service delivery from participating firms.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the entry levels for this year’s awards which are up 32 per cent on 2017” says ESTAS Group founder Simon Brown.
“A well thought through customer service strategy is vital for any property professional and customer reviews are becoming increasingly important in the client decision making process. It’s therefore essential that firms learn how to generate genuine customer reviews and how to use them in their marketing” he says.
The ESTAS feedback platform enables firms to send out a review invite via email or text asking clients to rate the customer service they received during the home moving process.
The ratings and feedback are sent back confidentially to each firm enabling them to track and benchmark their service performance.
The feedback data also allows The ESTAS to shortlist the best firms regionally and nationally culminating in the prestigious ESTAS Awards which take place in April each year - Angels Media and ValPal are partners of the awards, while Zoopla Property Group is the headline sponsor.
The 15th annual ESTAS Awards this year takes place on Friday April 20 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London.
The luncheon and presentation will take place in the spectacular Great Room which is also home to the BAFTAS dinner. The winners will be revealed by ESTAS brand ambassador Phil Spencer in front of 1,000 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents.
“The ESTAS isn’t just an awards event or a customer feedback programme. The ESTAS is a state of mind, a philosophy that many agents believe in because customer service is at the heart of their business and that’s what makes winning an ESTA such an honour” says Spencer.
Meanwhile Mark Goddard, managing director of ZPG’s property division, adds: “We’ve had a long-term relationship with the awards because ZPG's objectives are precisely aligned with those of The ESTAS, which are to help agents across the UK market themselves efficiently and help them win business. I’m really looking forward to meeting this year's winners who have been recognised for the excellent standard of customer service they delivered throughout the year."
Tickets for the April 20 event are on sale now at theestas.com. You can also register your interest for the 2019 awards which open for entry on February 1.
