The chief executive of failed online agency Emoov has been named this week as one of the 500 top “tech influencers” in the UK - days after his company collapsed after failing to find a buyer and being put into administration.
The list has been drawn up by a PR firm, Tyto, and in an introduction to its Top 500 list the managing partner Brendon Craigie says: “For us, an influencer is a key opinion former; someone who sets the trends, leads the discussion, and is at the bleeding edge of what they do.”
Tyto measured social media influence, influence within industries, and public speaking at key conferences. The list includes academics, bloggers, business leaders, celebrities, entrepreneurs, politicians, journalists, trade associations and venture capitalists, and covers 20 sectors of activity - one is Property.

What a load of tosh! Quirk is a wanna be get rich quick fool!
To quote the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing a well known historic figures' psychological profile:
"Never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."
