Connells celebrates doubling of new homes and land activities

Land and investment deals achieved by Connells Group in 2017 will add a further 2,750 units to its new homes pipeline, the company says.

The group says its land and new homes division’s 2017 figures show a 20 per cent riseon the previous year, with increased instructions for both corporate clients and local authorities.

Its new homes pipeline now stands 31 per cent ahead of the start of 2017.

“Our strong results reflect Connells Group’s outstanding reputation and relationships with our developer partners, Housing Associations and many other organisations within the residential development industry,” says Roger Barrett, Connells Group Land Director. 

“Housing supply and delivery continues to be a challenge for the development industry, so we are thrilled with the volume of land deals completed since the start of last year and look forward to supporting our developer partners further in the year ahead.”

The impact says its 600 estate agency branches sold 9,000 new homes in 2017.

“We have doubled the size of our operation over the last few years in response to growing demand for development opportunities from house builders, and we will continue to strengthen the division by adding strategic appointments throughout the year in a bid to remain the leading land agents in the UK,” continues Barrett.
