ZPG has revealed that it had 58m visits to its property websites, Zoopla and Primelocation, last month.
This is 10 per cent up year-on-year with mobile devices accounting for six out of every 10 visits.
Traffic to its comparison websites was also at record levels in January with almost 10m visits, up eight per cent compared to the same period last year.
“We’ve had a great start to the year with a record of over two million visits per day to our websites in January. These figures demonstrate that consumers are highly engaged with the services we provide and that we continue to deliver incredible exposure, value and results for our partners” says founder and chief executive Alex Chesterman.
Meanwhile separate analysis by the bank Morgan Stanley suggests that Zoopla’s property listings market share as a proportion of Rightmove’a listings is running at 79 per cent.
This is the highest level since Morgan Stanley began monitoring the portal market in March 2015.
