The scores are in and the results announced for the 2018 ESTAS Awards - and the winner of the coveted Grand Prix title is Nottingham-based agency Royston & Lund.
This afternoon the winners were announced at the ESTAS ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, where Phil Spencer announced the results in front of an audience of 1,000 agents.
Other notable winners included first timers Andrews Property Group, taking the Best Large Lettings Group Award while Countrywide - after a tumultuous year - retained its grip on the Large Estate Agency title.
In one of the most fiercely contested categories – Best Local Agency Group (for agencies with two to five offices) - another Nottinghamshire-based agency, Pinewood Properties, won the lettings award.
However, Yorkshire agency Dale Eddison was presented with the estate agency trophy for the third time in four years.
The ESTAS are based purely on the results of a customer service survey completed by 36,000 sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.
Phil Spencer told this afternoon’s audience: “The ESTAS are special because shortlisted and winning firms are selected purely on the service you deliver to your clients. Real feedback from real cuwstomers experiencing real service. I don’t think there can be a greater honour in the industry than to receive an award based on that mantra”.
Simon Brown, founder of The ESTAS Group, told the ceremony: “At The ESTAS we’re proud to say we believe in old fashioned values like customer service. We know how hard it is to deliver it, week in week out, that’s why we put the spotlight on property firms who are committed to providing excellent service. The ESTAS brand can help generate consumer trust for all property professionals involved in the home moving process”.
Congratulations from everyone at Angels Media to all of the agencies and suppliers that entered, and particular good wishes to today’s winners - well done everyone!
