Ex-Tepilo boss sets up Excellence In Estate Agency consultancy

The former deputy chief executive at online agency Tepilo is launching a new training, recruitment and consultancy business for estate agents. 

Catherine Hooper says her new Excellence in Estate Agency firm will offer “strategic business development solutions to both high street estate agencies and the online estate agency sector across the UK.”

In practical terms, it will offer consultancy on streamlining processes, integrating PropTech and handle recruitment and training.

“Having worked extensively with both high street and online agents, I have first-hand knowledge of what each sector does well and also where the gaps for improvement are” says Hooper, who has two decades of industry experience. 

“Agents want to not only defend their market share but also ensure growth, however at a time when there has never been a bigger pressure on fees, this is becoming increasingly challenging and simply reducing one’s fee should not have to be the answer” insists Hooper.

EIEA is partnering with suppliers to offer CRM systems, lead generation tools and digital marketing services. 

The firm, which says it has already recruited an in-house recruitment director, will also provide “cost-effective and highly personalised sector-specific recruitment, with the option to be linked with onboarding and ongoing training.”
