Yopa - the online agency with huge financial backing from Savills - has attracted a Knight Frank agent to become its regional director for London.
Ben Ainsworth is to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Yopa’s London agents’ businesses “to ensure an exceptional standard of customer service is delivered throughout the sale process and to maximise growth of local market share.”
Ainsworth joins the team with 11 years’ experience in local agency offices.
At Dexters, where Ainsworth began his career in property in 2007, he specialised in launching new offices; he moved to Knight Frank in 2016 where, as head of the newly launched Aldgate office which focused on the City of London sales market, his branch took a 24 per cent share of the market within just a year of opening.
“Yopa stood out to me as an exciting, fast-moving business that’s really shaking up the industry, and I’m delighted to now play a part in its growth story. It’s a great opportunity for me to build on the company’s successful strategy by supporting local London agents and encouraging them to push for increased market share” says Ainsworth.
Meanwhile the agency chief executive, Ben Poynter, says: “Ben joins with a wealth of experience in building up practices for some of the UK’s most reputable estate agency brands, while his impressive sales track record speaks for itself in terms of his drive and ability, making him an asset to our growing team.”
Earlier this week Yopa announced the opening of a new customer service centre at Croxley Park in Watford in Hertfordshire, which will see the creation of over 100 jobs including some for estate agents.

Yopa seems to be defying the hybrid model naysayers and showing the big boys how things should be done. Good old customer service and value for money.
