A PropTech firm that provides photography for virtual tours, floor plans and online and hard copy property details is relocating from Latvia to London in a bid to capture more UK agency business.
Giraffe360, which has just secured additional £1m investment, already works with Hunters and the UK offices of RE/MAX and John Taylor.
It also works with agencies in seven other European countries.
The latest funding will be used to launch the next generation of Giraffe360 technology; it already produces a camera which generates high resolution images for online use, advertising, print and billboards straight to estate agents.
Mikus Opelts, the Latvian entrepreneur who is chief executive of Giraffe360, says: “London is one of the biggest real estate markets in the world and Brexit or no Brexit, London will remain a well-connected and diverse global city, with a supportive business ecosystem and competitive market.
“The rapidly growing UK PropTech scene is important to us. Real estate business in the UK is opening its doors for much needed innovation. New PropTech start-ups are launching their solutions every single day.”
The new funding for the company follows an initial £450,000 seed funding round in 2016, led by an Estonian investment fund.
