Zoopla says it now offers the fastest listings search of all three leading UK property portals on mobile devices.
In turn, it claims its recent enhancements are delivering a significant rise in leads for agents - up 16 per cent for sales and 10 per cent for lettings.
The improvement follows a multimillion-pound investment in Zoopla’s tech strategy earlier in the year, part of a wider company-wide focus to deliver improved results and return on investment for agents.
As part of the investment, Zoopla removed all adverts from its mobile web platform.
It says this has boosted its search results pages on mobile devices, improved home buyer engagement, strengthened the brand’s search engine rankings and driven more traffic.
“We put the customer at the heart of everything we do, so investment in our web platform is a key priority” says Dave Wascha, the portal’s chief product and technology officer.
“In the past quarter, we have delivered double digit increases in sales and lettings leads and the fastest page speeds on mobile devices, both of which directly increase value for money for agents.”
Zoopla says its recent enhancements also include a cleaner layout that captures home buyer and home renters’ attention while looking for property listings, in turn driving more leads to agents; a new layout that adapts to mobile devices, improving user experience; and a new results filter that drives efficiency for house hunters.
