Home owners on Corbyn Road in a Midlands town are seeking a name change because they fear house prices will plummet.
The road is in the Dudley North constituency, a Labour stronghold until the Conservative win on Thursday.
Now the local media report that owners are lobbying the local council for a name change.
“House prices in this area are already struggling, the last thing we need is potential buyers being put off by the street name” one resident is quoted as saying.
Another says: "I'm a life-long Labour supporter but I've never liked the direction Jeremy Corbyn was going in. It used to amuse my grown up children that I live on Corbyn Road but frankly it's now more of an embarrassment. I've got Jewish friends who are appalled at what's happened in the party since he was leader.”
Properties on the road are worth between £110,000 and £180,000 according to Zoopla.
Another resident, writing on Facebook, urges a petition to the local authority and says an alternative name could be Unity Road.

How pathetic. Let's change North Street because Lord North was the worst prime minster in British history and lost us the American colonies, Mafeking Terrace because it brings back memories of atrocities against the Boers and puts people off, Dresden Road in Highgate because of the unconscientiousable blanket bombing of the city which deters German buyers and Shipman Road in Leicester, Market Weighton, Forest Hill, et al because he was the worst serial killer in Britain in recent times. Just wait for Johnston Road in 5 years time - and there's quite a lot of those around!
Couldn't agree more. It's utter nonsense and anyone who is not moving to an area because Corbyn happens to be in the name needs to take a long, hard look at themselves.
I seriously doubt it is having any negative impact on the prices in the area, either.
Whatever you think of him, Corbyn is not the devil incarnate and is nowhere near as extreme as certain sections of our media make him out to be.
I very much doubt it's the only Corbyn Road in the country, and it just seems like it's a few people keen to get their names in the paper for their fifteen minutes of fame.
