An estate agency which was set up in south Wales late last year is opening a new branch that it describes as “paperless.”
M2 is a new agency brand in Newport, set up by Mark Roberts who has operated the Roberts Estate Agents business in the town for 15 years.
He already has two offices under the M2 brand in Usk and Abergavenny but the third, in Newport, is described by Roberts as being “a break from the traditional.”
He says: “Rather than adopting the showroom and brochure approach, there will be more focus on technology, coupled with individual attention from knowledgeable staff.
“However, in every other way, the new branch will provide what our customers are already coming to expect from the brand - a friendly face, an understanding approach and excellent customer service.”
And Dan Maguire, manager at the new branch, says: “We are aiming for the paperless approach and the personal touch. Houses for sale will be displayed on TV monitors in the windows 24/7 and also in the branch. We’ll encourage people to come in and have a cup of coffee with us and look through the properties on-line. Of course, we will print off any details they want to take away.”
M2, launched last August, specialises in residential sales across the market, promoting higher end properties priced at £500,000 and above under the Town and Country banner.
It describes its offer to vendors as simple and straightforward - “sales fees are competitive and there are no upfront charges and no add-ons.”
