Mark Witherspoon, well known in the agency industry as the former data services director of Zoopla, has joined the TwentyCi company.
TwentyCi is used by agencies to provide performance data: in recent months EweMove, Fine & Country and Emoov's former owners have used TwentyCi or sister firm TwentyEA to promote their brands.
It also promotes a quarterly National Property and HomeMover report and has recently provided the Sunday Times with house price information. It says it now covers 96.6 per cent of all UK property moves.
Witherspoon’s move to the firm comes as TwentyCi - in its words - “looks to accelerate the growth of the business through its unique combination of data and technology.”
During his time at Zoopla - then commonly called ZPG - Witherspoon was heavily involved in expanding brand exposure for PrimeLocation and Hometrack.
A statement by TwentyCi says he brings “30 years of experience across retail financial services, property risk, data management and modelling in key non-executive roles and consultancy.”
Witherspoon - who will also join the board of View My Chain, a Group TwentyCi PropTech company - says of his new role: “This is a very exciting time for me to be joining the business which has already demonstrated huge potential in the data tech space. We will now be able to really focus on growing our share of our target markets and building on the excellent work that Ian and the team have delivered.”
