Jackson-Stops has launched a new branch in mid-Sussex, expanding the estate agency’s national network to over 45 offices.
The Mid-Sussex branch will cover residential property sales, including new homes.
The branch will form part of Jackson-Stops’ existing south east offering, joining 13 other branches in the region including Midhurst, Dorking and Tunbridge Wells.
The announcement comes just days after the sale of the agency’s 11 London branches to Dexters. No price has been revealed for that deal, but the offices will continue to trade under the Jackson-Stops brand for the time being; the acquisition expands Dexters’ network to 106 offices and is set to take the firm’s annual turnover to above £100m.
Nick Leeming, chairman of Jackson-Stops, comments: “This new office in Sussex demonstrates our commitment to providing a sound, professional service in high quality areas and I am delighted to see [branch directors] Guy Kelsey (pictured left) and Toby Whittome (right) at the helm. I worked with Guy and Toby closely during their time within our London Group and know that their dedication and expertise will ensure the launch of the new branch is a success.”
Whittome and Kelsey have over 40 years of agency experience between them and say they are “excited” that the firm is expanding its offering in the south east and describes the new patch as “full of quintessential English villages, bustling communities, independent shops and stunning countryside.”
