The new Federation of Independent Agents - scheduled to launch this week - has revealed a partnership with reviews platform Feefo.
The FIA is putting a high emphasis on transparency and customer service for its members. Founder Graham Lock describes it as “a new federation with a modern mindset, dedicated to using innovation and technology to drive game-changing improvements in customer experience.”
The FIA is a member only organisation with the objectives of giving independents the scale and quality of supplier access that is often reserved for bulk-buying corporates.
It has already attracted over 200 agency brands with some 400 branches that have pre-registered their interest in joining.
It allows only one member agent per town and Lock says that in addition to an application process “agents will be expected to be top performers in their area and conduct their business in a professional and compliant manner.”
He adds: “The Feefo platform will be a key tool, enabling us to measure our members’ customer service at the coal-face, while empowering FIA agents to improve and demonstrate they are uniquely customer-focused.”
Matt West, Feefo’s chief executive, adds: “This is another significant moment for the property industry, who as a collective are looking to improve transparency and customer service, which our technology enables them to do so.”
Feefo’s review platform is used by more than 3,500 brands including Next, Vauxhall, Expedia, JCB and Thomas Cook.
