Franchisee snaps up independent agency in popular seaside town

Winkworth has a new office in its network, in the fashionable Suffolk town of Southwold.

Independent agency Halford Wetmore has been acquired by there Winkworth Poringland franchisee Jamie Moore; his office was considered one of the fastest growing in the Winkworth network last year.

The Southwold office will remain at its current location with previous owner Daniel Wetmore staying on as a consultant; Stuart Tricker, with 20 years agency experience, will also join the team as branch partner to help drive forward the success of the business.

“Acquiring this new office is a great opportunity for us to expand into Suffolk and extend our client base. Southwold has a strong property market, which is particularly popular with London buyers looking for second homes, and there is no other agent locally that can provide a direct link to London buyers” claims Moore.
