An estate agent has been jailed for 19 months and will have to be on the sex offenders’ register for the next 10 years.
He will also have to abide by the restrictions of a sexual harm prevention order for the same period of time.
Darren Ludbrook bought drinks for a teenager, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, before giving her a lift.
In his car Ludbrook, of Halifax, started rubbing the teenager’s legs and trying to kiss her as she pulled away from him. After stopping the car again he put his hand inside her clothing.
Ludbrook, 43 - who was fined and bound over for indecent exposure nearly 20 years ago - told the teenager not to tell her parents.
Defence for Ludbrook told the court he had to sell his sales agency because of the stress caused by his court case, but he was currently running a lettings business.
However the judge said: “This was not a moment of madness. This was something you led up to and you targeted her. This was, Mr Ludbrook, an utterly appalling offence and she was terrified.”
On his Twitter account Ludbrook describes himself as managing director of Artisan Homes. He also ran a wine bar called The Artisan.
Here is a local news report on the case.

And I hope there's a banning order winging it's way over to them. Disgusting.
